We were totally reliant on Checkatrade to discover us a competent contractor for our home improvement. We registered and advertised our needs, but unfortunately, we were left abandoned at sea.

In the end, we ended up payinga huge sum/an exorbitant amount/ way more than it should have been by this so-called "vetted" trader. Checkatrade's customer service was equally useless/incompetent/unhelpful. They offered us a pathetic excuse/blamed the trader/did nothing.

We're left feeling frustrated and would definitely not recommend Checkatrade for your tradesman needs.

My experience with Checkatrade was a complete shambles. I hired a trader through their service to complete some essential home repairs. They looked legitimate at first, but it resulted in a appalling ordeal.

Despite I sent the full amount upfront, the work completely vanished into thin air. Contact ceased. It's been weeks, and I'm still left with a gaping hole where my sense of security once was.
